Smart Study Planner Pro

Smart Study Planner Pro ("we", "our", or "us") is a free Android application that helps students organize their study schedule, track sessions, set exam countdowns, and build consistent study habits. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our app.

We collect the following types of information:

• Study Data: Subjects, study sessions, exam dates, and progress — stored only on your device (Room database). We never upload this to any server.
• Device Identifiers: Advertising ID, collected automatically by Google AdMob to deliver relevant ads.
• Usage Data: App interaction events collected by Google AdMob for ad performance measurement.
• Network Information: Internet connectivity status used to load ads from AdMob.

The data collected is used to:

• Display study sessions, streaks, and analytics within the app
• Send local notifications and reminders for your study schedule
• Show relevant advertisements via Google AdMob
• Improve app stability and performance

We use Google AdMob (App ID: ca-app-pub-1683273021222349~1554522415) to show ads in our app. AdMob may collect and use data including:

• Device advertising ID and device information
• IP address and general location (country/region level)
• App usage and interaction events
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies

All your study data (subjects, sessions, goals, exam dates) is stored locally on your device using Android's Room database. This data is:

• Never transmitted to external servers by us
• Protected by your device's built-in security (screen lock, encryption)
• Deleted automatically when you uninstall the app
• Backed up via Android Auto Backup only if you have it enabled in device settings

Our app uses the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob – In-app advertising (Privacy Policy)
• Google Play Services – Core Android platform services
• WorkManager – Local background task scheduling for notifications

We do not use Firebase, Analytics, Crashlytics, or any other cloud services that would transmit your personal data.

Smart Study Planner Pro is designed for students of all ages. However, we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Reset Advertising ID: Go to your device Settings → Google → Ads → Reset Advertising ID
• Opt-Out of Personalized Ads: Enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in your device's Google settings
• Delete All Data: Simply uninstall the app — all local data is permanently removed
• GDPR & CCPA: Users in the EU and California have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA. AdMob handles consent management for targeted advertising.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
